Bull Run Middle School Designated 2014 School of Excellence
Our students have the distinction of attending a newly named PWCS School of Excellence. This is the 3rd consecutive year Bull Run Middle School has earned the coveted title. Bull Run Middle School has earned the distinction of School of Excellence 7 times since opening in the fall of 2002.

School of Excellence is the highest recognition awarded to schools by the PWCS School Board. It signifies high levels of performance on state accreditation, Annual Measurable Objectives, and in moving toward the goals of the Division’s Strategic Plan.

Congratulations to everyone who helped to earn this important indicator of student success.

Thank you, Counselors!
The staff and students of Bull Run Middle School are pleased to announce and recognize our professional school counselors during the week of February 2-6, 2015, in celebration of National School Counseling Week. The week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

Our dedicated and wonderful school counselors are:

Ms. Beth Graney, Counseling Director and 6th grade counselor
Dr. Tori. Stone, 7th grade counselor
Ms. Cathy Fermo, 8th grade counselor

Our school counselors work with all students to remove barriers to learning by addressing academic concerns, personal/social skills, and career awareness for success at the middle school level. Comprehensive school counseling programs help to increase student achievement and are a vital part of the educational process for all students. We are very proud and fortunate to have such a wonderful counseling staff.
